Importance of Clean Gutters?

Gutters, we know, are sometimes the last thing on your mind when it comes to maintaining your home and many things can go wrong when you have not cleaned them for a while. Gutters become filled with debris, especially in heavily wooded areas where the leaves are constantly falling. The brackets attaching the gutters to your home are not made to withstand excessive weight from overflowing leaves and debris. This extra weight can cause the gutters to pull away from the soffit, not allowing the gutters to do their job. Per the US Climate Data, the expected rainfall for the months of September through December will be almost SIXTEEN inches of rain. When your gutters are not able to do their job, roofs start rotting and foundations start cracking. Just the simple fact of not cleaning out your gutters could potentially cause even more of a burden to your expenses. Let’s also not forget that creatures love dark and damp places to crawl into and live (mosquitos, birds, squirrels, etc).
